Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
Location: Ingham & Surrounding Areas
Remuneration: $32.69 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts.
The Program: Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, while you earn an income. We’ll connect you with government funding, so you complete the certificate at no cost.

About The Role

As a Personal Carer Trainee, you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one‑on‑one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
- In‑home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc




- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
