SPG Drainage and Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced MC side tipper operators to join our team in Karratha, WA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles to support our civil construction projects in the region. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company in the road transport industry.
About the role
- Residential only - MC side tipper operators
- Operating double and triple side tipper road train combinations
- Operating quad side tipper road train combinations
- A wide range of work in the Pilbara region with exposure to different project sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Manage fatigue , maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks
- Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
- Assist with general site and yard duties as required
What we're looking for
- Valid MC driver's licence with a robust driving record
- Local to Karratha - No FIFO
- Ability to carry out basic maintenance of truck and trailer combinations.
- At least 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles in a civil construction or road transport environment
- Experience with triple / quad side tippers - Highly desirable
- White card - Highly desirable
- Knowledge of road transport regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to interact with customers
- Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
