Catering Assistant

Salary: $30.22/hour + 25% casual loading + penalty rates

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing, portioning, and presenting meals, including assembling patient trays according to dietary requirements.
- Deliver meals directly to patient rooms, providing a friendly and respectful interaction while ensuring accuracy and care.
- Support patients with meal-related requests and communicate effectively with nursing staff and dietitians when required.
- Assist with kitchen duties including food prep, dishwashing, stock handling, and maintaining hygiene standards.





Qualifications

- Demonstrates patience when interacting with patients and staff, ensuring their needs are met with care.
- Understands the importance of providing comfort through food, especially in a healthcare setting.
- Approaches tasks with a can-do attitude and a willingness to help others.
- Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
