SH Build specialises in remote construction across the Northern Territory and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Administrator to join our dynamic and energetic Gove-based team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our regional office in Gove, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of two active building maintenance contracts, while also providing broader office and project administration support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and scheduling maintenance works for SH Build crews and subcontractors
- Managing on-call rosters
- Tracking labour, verifying timesheets and allocating hours correctly within Simpro
- Preparing and finalising maintenance jobs and invoices for finance
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, tenants, subcontractors and maintenance staff
- Supporting vacate and larger-scale maintenance works from planning through to completion
- Providing general office, HR and administrative support to Senior Managers
This is a hands-on,
trusted position that plays a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a small to medium office environment
- Strong administration and coordination experience (maintenance or project-based preferred)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to liaise confidently with onsite crews, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders
- A genuine interest in systems and technology, with the ability to learn new platforms
- Knowledge of and commitment to working within Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
The following experience will be highly regarded:
- Project administration experience on Government projects
- Maintenance scheduling and administration experience
- Experience using Simpro software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate and support staff
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
