Full time, fixed-term contract (12-months) at HEW Level 5.

Penrith campus with flexible working arrangements.

Salary: $85,778 – $97,006 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Provide essential administrative support that enables effective faculty operations across teaching, research, and community engagement.

The Opportunity

You will provide high-quality administrative support that underpins the effective operation of the Faculty and contributes to its overall success. Working closely with the Business Operations Coordinator, you will support a wide range of activities including teaching and learning, research, governance, and community engagement. Your role will be central to ensuring that administrative processes are delivered efficiently and in line with University standards.

You will prepare documentation using a range of systems and tools, manage records and correspondence, and support student-facing services such as enrolment, timetabling, and general enquiries. You will also liaise with academic and professional staff to coordinate key operational activities, maintain accurate data across University systems, and ensure consistent administrative practices across the Faculty.

In addition, you will contribute to event and project coordination, supporting initiatives such as Open Day, graduations, and community engagement activities. You will assist in delivering Faculty events, maintain promotional materials, and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery. This role requires strong organisation, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Administrative processes are delivered efficiently and support Faculty operations.
- Documentation, records, and correspondence meet University standards.
- Students and staff receive accurate and timely advice and support.
- Faculty events and activities are coordinated effectively and delivered to a high standard.
- Opportunities for process improvement are identified and implemented.
- Relevant qualification or equivalent administrative experience in a large organisation.
- Strong computer literacy across systems including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to show initiative.
- Experience coordinating events and managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
