Based at the Tom Quinn Centre in Bundaberg, you will bring the garden to life by creating a welcoming, hands‑on learning environment for young people aged 16–25.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Facilitate engaging garden, nursery and micro‑enterprise activities.
- Teach practical skills in horticulture, food production and sustainability.
- Support young people to build confidence, independence and employment skills.
- Coordinate volunteers and foster strong community partnerships.
- Help manage produce for the café, markets and community initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and accurate program records.
What You Will Bring
Passion for working with young people and creating opportunities through hands‑on learning.
- Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work, Community Services or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in community programs, horticulture, food production, hospitality or social enterprise.
- Strong relationship‑building and facilitation skills.
- Commitment to trauma‑informed, culturally safe and person‑centred practice.
Essential Requirements
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Current First Aid Certificate.
