- Level 6, $95,986 - $103,873 p.a, plus up to 17% employer superannuation
- Full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term appointment until August 2027

The Opportunity

The Academic Support Unit (ASU) supports innovative teaching, research excellence and outstanding student learning experiences across all UniSC campuses. Working collaboratively across the University, ASU delivers specialist expertise in technical operations, work integrated learning, school operational support and accreditation services.

As the Communications and Projects Officer, you will play a key role in delivering strategic communication initiatives and managing projects that support ASU's priorities. Working closely with the Director, Academic Support Unit, and the ASU Leadership Team, you will develop engaging communications, coordinate organisational projects, improve business processes and build robust relationships with stakeholders across the University.

You will

- develop and deliver communication strategies, plans and initiatives that promote ASU priorities and enhance staff engagement;
- coordinate and manage communication and organisational projects from planning through to implementation, monitoring and evaluation; and
- create high-quality communication materials, reports and project documentation while supporting governance, continuous improvement and strategic planning activities.

About you

You are an organised and proactive communications and project professional who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver meaningful outcomes. You have exceptional written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, you build trusted relationships and are motivated by improving processes, supporting organisational change and delivering high-quality work.





You will possess:

- Completion of a degree in communications, business or a related discipline, with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience;
- Demonstrated experience in communications, project management and stakeholder engagement within a large or complex organisation;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare engaging content, reports, presentations and communication materials for a range of audiences;
- Highly developed organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites; and
- Knowledge of, or experience within, the Australian higher education sector is desirable.
