The Driver/Batcher role offers excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling and logistics while working in the construction industry. This full‑time position works Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as required, and includes overtime and penalties.
Experience is preferred; however, training will be provided to successful candidates.
About The Role
- Batching agitator trucks safely and efficiently
- Delivering concrete in an agitator
- Loading aggregate bins
- Housekeeping and yard duties
- Communicating with customers on a regular basis
- Placing orders for customers and internal stakeholders
- Operating a front‑end loader
Background and Experience Required
- Self‑motivated and take pride in your work
- Holder of an HR licence or higher
- Strong work‑ethic and excellent timekeeping
- Ability to efficiently support individual customer requests
- Enjoy being part of a results‑driven environment
- High regard for safety policies and procedures
- Very valuable IT skills and experience using Outlook and other software
- Front‑end loader ticket and experience highly regarded
