Night Shift Maintenance Fitter

- Technical Inspect, diagnose, repair and replace mechanical components of various machines and equipment
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, cleaning, adjusting and calibrating the machines and equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions.
- Follow the standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and food hygiene protocols while performing the maintenance activities.
- Document and report the maintenance work done, the spare parts used, and the problems encountered.
- Keep the maintenance tools, equipment, and workshop clean and organized.
- Update and maintain the maintenance records and inventory of spare parts.

Collaboration





- Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance and Production teams.
- Work closely with the production team, the quality team, and the external contractors to ensure the optimal performance and availability of the machines and equipment.

Continuous Improvement

- Suggest and implement improvements and modifications to the machines and equipment to enhance their efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Skills and Attributes

- Sound knowledge of the mechanical principles and operations of various machines and equipment used in food manufacturing.
- Proficient in using various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- High regard for safety, food hygiene, and environmental standards.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience

Demonstrated experience as an industrial Fitter, preferably in food manufacturing.
