About the Role

Housed in a heritage building dating back to 1850 and sitting right on the Esplanade opposite the park, our Fremantle hotel is a WA landmark with 300 rooms, two restaurants and two bars keeping things busy around the clock. We’re looking for a Night Auditor to be the steady hand overnight – balancing the books, welcoming late check‑ins,



and making sure everything’s ready to go by the time the sun comes up. This role is perfect for someone who’s meticulous with numbers, comfortable working independently, and just as capable of a warm welcome at 2am as at 2pm.

Key Responsibilities

- Efficiently check guests in and out overnight, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel procedures.
- Process daily guest transactions and reconcile accounts, including posting all accommodation, food, beverage, and miscellaneous revenue.
- Complete the night audit process thoroughly, identifying and resolving any discrepancies between revenue and payments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with tact and care.
- Maintain clear communication with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all cashiering, accounting, and audit policies, maintaining accurate documentation to support financial integrity.

What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience in a similar Front Office or Night Audit role in a hotel,



with the ability to deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Strong knowledge of front office operations, including check‑in/check‑out procedures and reservation management.
- Demonstrated experience in processing financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems and night audit functions, with attention to detail in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Comfortable working independently overnight and staying alert and focused across a quiet shift.
