The Trainer position will be responsible for delivering the training required for the operation, implementation and support of products for mission critical Command and Control systems for our customers. The role will require periods of domestic and international travel. Australian citizenship is required and candidates must hold a current Positive Vetting (PV) clearance or have had one in the last 12 months that can be re‑activated. The position can be based from Sydney or Canberra offices and is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

- Provide SME input into a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and a Training Concept.
- Review and update end‑user training courses and material.
- Plan, manage and coordinate a training schedule.
- Deliver ad‑hoc and scheduled end‑user training.
- Assess and evaluate trainees.
- Input subject‑matter expertise on training requirements to system development.
- Assist operators with on‑the‑job training.
- Attend and participate in regular departmental and project meetings.
- Attend and participate in service/technical reviews (both internal and external).





Key Knowledge and Experience

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Analytical intelligence experience.
- Experience in or strong interest in working in secure ICT environments.
- Knowledge or experience of geospatial tools and data formats.
- Nationally recognised instructor qualifications or experience.
- Generation of training material.
