Job Description

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team in the NDIS Employment Pathways team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals living with disabilities.

As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the design, development and continuous improvement of our employment pathways, capacity‑building and job readiness programs for NDIS participants. This is a unique prospect to combine strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and hands‑on program development to create pathways that empower people to achieve their employment goals.

Working within our NDIS Employment Pathways team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing contemporary, participant‑centred learning experiences, while coordinating the operational delivery of programs that make a genuine difference in people's lives.

About the Role

- Facilitate the design, development and review of employment pathways existing and potential programs
- Create engaging and innovative learning pathways and experiences, including facilitator guides, participant resources and assessment tools, aligned with employment outcomes, adult learning principles and participant capability development




- Develop partnerships with schools, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), employers and community organisations to strengthen participant outcomes
- Coordinate projects and initiatives that support sustainable employment pathways
- Ensure programs align with nationally recognised training, where appropriate
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through evaluation, stakeholder feedback and outcome measurement
- Provide operational leadership, guidance and support to team members across multiple sites.
- Represent Mai-Wel in education, employment and community forums.

- Experienced in vocational education, learning design, disability, employment services or community services

Essential Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Minimum three years' experience in program development, curriculum design or vocational education
- Experience working within or alongside a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Experience developing structured learning programs, resources and assessment tools




- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Understanding of NDIS Employment Supports and transition‑to‑employment frameworks & models
- Experience building partnerships with education providers, schools, employers and community stakeholders
- Experience planning and monitoring program delivery of team members
- Current Driver Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Desirable qualifications and experience in disability services, NDIS employment supports, School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES), learning design, education or community services will be highly regarded.
