About the Role
ACH Group is seeking a detail-focused and analytical Management Accountant (Claims) to support the accurate, compliant and timely management of government claiming activity, with a primary focus on Support at Home. This role will play a key part in strengthening revenue assurance, improving claims visibility, supporting reconciliations and providing financial insights that help inform operational and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, validation, submission and reconciliation of Support at Home and related government claims.
- Review service, funding, customer and finance data to ensure claims are accurate, compliant, appropriately evidenced and correctly coded.
- Resolve claim exceptions, revenue risks and reconciliation issues while maintaining clear controls and documentation.
You will also
- Complete reconciliations across claiming records, operational systems, customer accounts and general ledger revenue.
- Support month-end, year-end, audit and compliance reporting, including journals, accruals, adjustments and revenue analysis.
- Provide financial information, commentary and insights to support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, margin review and business decision-making.
About You
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
- You are CA or CPA qualified or working towards completion.
- You bring experience in management accounting, customer accounts or a similar finance role.
- You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to investigate complex data, reconciliations and variances.
- You are confident using Excel and financial systems, including working across multiple operational, billing and finance systems.
Desirable
- Experience in aged care, home care, community services, health, disability, not-for-profit or government-funded service environments.
- Experience with Support at Home, Home Care Packages, CHSP, PRODA, ACPP, Medicare or related government claiming processes.
