We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a busy Defence team supporting the delivery of multiple engineering and fabrication projects.
This is a fast-paced environment where you'll oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time while coordinating a range of internal and external stakeholders.
With a period of transition underway, you'll play a key role in providing additional project delivery support and helping the team maintain momentum.
This is an initial 2-3-month contract with an immediate start, making it ideal for someone who is available to commence next week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple Defence engineering projects concurrently.
- Coordinate project activities across mechanical and electrical work packages.
- Engage with engineering teams, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor project schedules, risks and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Support the team through a critical transition period by providing hands‑on project management expertise.
About You:
You are an organised and adaptable Project Manager who enjoys working across multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience managing projects within the Australian Defence sector.
- An active NV1 Security Clearance .
- Experience delivering engineering, manufacturing or fabrication projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and keep multiple projects on track.
- Experience using JIRA and Objective (highly regarded).
