Lead AI Engineer - $260k + Super - Sydney (Hybrid) - GCP
Nuage have partnered with a leading global technology consultancy to find an experiencedTechnical AI Leadto drive the design and delivery of enterprise scale AI solutions with a main focus on the Google Cloud stack.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who is passionate about architecting modern AI platforms, leading engineering teams, and delivering production grade Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions using Google's ecosystem. The Role As the Technical AI Lead, you'll define technical strategy, provide architectural leadership, and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams while working with enterprise customers to solve complex business challenges through AI.
You’ll own the end-to-end technical delivery of AI initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices across the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Experience Required
- Proven experience leading technical AI or Machine Learning teams.
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise solutions onGoogle Cloud Platform.
- Strong engineering background.
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with production Generative AI deployments.
- Strong understanding of modern data engineering practices.
- Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Strong hands-on expertise across the Google Cloud AI ecosystem, including Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Run, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MLOps, and cloud-native solution architecture.
- Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical direction across multiple workstreams.
