Lead the geology function for a growing Australian gold producer.

Tennant Mines is an emerging Australian gold producer focused on developing and operating high-quality gold assets in the Northern Territory. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Geology Superintendent to lead our operational geology team at the Nobles Gold Project , located near Tennant Creek.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager , you will play a key leadership role in ensuring safe, efficient and profitable mining operations through the delivery of high-quality geological support, grade control and resource management.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing all operational geology functions across the mine. Working closely with Mining, Processing and Technical Services, you'll ensure accurate geological information supports production while driving continuous improvement across grade control, reconciliation and geological modelling.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the site geology team while fostering a strong safety culture.

Manage grade control activities to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution.

Oversee geological mapping, sampling, logging and interpretation.

Maintain geological models and provide inputs into mine planning.

Manage reconciliation between geological models,



mining and processing outcomes.

Identify geological risks and opportunities to optimise production.

Collaborate with operational teams to achieve production targets.

Manage geological contractors, budgets and departmental performance.

Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company standards.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent.

At least 8 years' operational mine geology experience within the gold mining industry.

Minimum 3 years in a senior geology leadership role .

Solid experience in open pit operational geology and grade control.

Experience with geological reconciliation and modelling.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.

Experience with underground operations, Leapfrog, Deswik, Datashed and LogChief will be highly regarded.
