The Role

We are currently seeking a Scheduling & Claims Manager to maintain trade base forecasting and support construction demand through oversight of trade scheduling, claims management, contractor management, and team wellbeing.

This role will see you:

Forecast weekly claims management and optimise trade schedules set by the Scheduling team. Manage daily and weekly claim review and processing.

Oversee weekly trade schedules and adjust as needed to optimise onsite progress and minimise delays.

Review trade forecasts to ensure subcontractor availability aligns with Residential Building needs.

Integrate prequalified subcontractors following WHS onboarding of new subcontractors and maintain a subcontractor database (service regions, capacity, performance ratings).

Monitor and direct the scheduling team in adjusting daily and weekly trade schedules to avoid delays and optimise resource allocation.

Manage the trade scheduling team and ensure efficient allocation of trade resources, including resolving scheduling conflicts and trade availability issues.

Provide advice on costs, procurement, construction methodology and commercial risks to ensure best practice is achieved.

Conduct ad hoc onsite trade reviews to ensure work meets company standards and scope requirements, providing feedback to the Building Manager and Residential Construction GM.

Track trade performance, reliability and alignment with company values and present trade updates to the Executive Team in monthly meetings.





Assist with updates and changes in Salesforce Logistics for build programming and provide leadership, training, and support to new scheduling team members.

The Person

A minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in the Volume Building Industry.

Experience in Project Management, Contracts Management and Supervising (highly desirable).

Strong understanding of construction and supply contracts, and experience with subcontractors.

High computer literacy and ability to solve problems.

Construction Induction (White Card).

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop successful relationships.

Excellent time management, organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Strong negotiation skills and a focus on achieving targets and quality results.
