The College is seeking to fill four casual coaching positions (2 hours per week, days negotiated), including:

Netball Coach

Basketball Coach

Soccer Coach

Touch Football Coach

This is a great opportunity to inspire students, foster teamwork, and contribute to a vibrant school sporting community.

In this position you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with equipment and the preparations for, and conducting of, training sessions and/or sporting events
- Supporting students with a diverse range of abilities and learning needs
- Ensuring the condition of resources and materials are clean and safe to use and arrange the repair or replacement for any damaged item
- Generally, supervising small groups in their chosen sport
- Coaching on rules, tactics and expectations within the sport
- Encouraging camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst players.

About our school

St Joseph's College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned co-educational College that opened in January 2019. Our first Seniors graduated in 2024. The College is located in Coomera on the Northern Gold Coast, 40 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.

About the Candidate

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

- No formal qualification is required; however a robust track record in the revelant sport and relevant coaching experience will be highly regarded
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic





Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
- Current/valid Queensland Driver's Licence, if required.
