Role Description
This contract Property Manager role is a hybrid position based in Chatswood, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of properties, coordinating leasing activities, tenant onboarding, and lease renewals. Daily tasks include handling tenant inquiries, organizing inspections, managing maintenance requests, and liaising with trades and service providers to ensure timely repairs. The role also involves monitoring rental payments, following up on arrears, preparing documentation and reports, and maintaining accurate records in property management systems.
The Property Manager will collaborate with the broader team to support property sales processes when required and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management, including tenant relations, leasing processes, and routine inspections.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with tenants, owners, and contractors.
- Proficiency with property management software and general computer skills (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Understanding of NSW residential tenancy legislation and related compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and contract administration.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Current driver's license and access to a vehicle for property visits and inspections.
- Relevant real estate or property management qualification or license in NSW (or willingness to obtain).
- Prior experience in the Greater Sydney market is highly regarded.
