We have an opening for an enthusiastic and proactive Engineering student to join our Australia team. This role will work closely with our Engineering and Asset management team but will also be exposed to and have the opportunity to undertake rotations in other divisions including Development, Origination / Commercial and EPC depending on business needs and intern aspirations.
- Researching, and understanding the scope of work, technical specifications, stakeholder expectations, technical issues on assigned tasks
- Supporting one (or more) experienced engineers in the delivery, and performance of engineering projects
- Perform duties to support engineering tasks, such as renewable resource assessment, design of Solar Farms, data analysis, and project delivery
- Working on software tools and process improvement projects
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the local team in project proposals and submissions, including solar and battery energy storage solutions (BESS);
- Work on various new technology innovation and delivery.
This position will be supported by experienced mentors in the business and suitable in-house training will be provided.
- An undergraduate degree Bachelor of Engineering
- Currently completing a 4-year Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering degree – preferably in final year
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
- Availability to work from our Melbourne CBD office at least 2 days per week
Desirable (not essential):
- Programming skills, such as Python
