About The Role As an Apprentice Tiler (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year) at Uniplan, you'll continue developing your trade while working alongside experienced tilers in our modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience across a diverse range of modular homes and commercial buildings, building your skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Description

What You'll Be Learning Working under the guidance of qualified tilers, you will:

- Assist with waterproofing wet areas
- Prepare surfaces ready for tiling
- Learn to set out floor and wall tiles accurately
- Assist with laying and grouting floor and wall tiles
- Learn how to complete silicone sealing and finishing work
- Maintain tools, equipment and materials
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
- Work closely with other trades and production teams
- Follow established systems and quality processes

Skills and Experiences About You We’re looking for someone who is either currently completing an apprenticeship in Wall and Floor Tiling or is eager to begin and complete an apprenticeship with Uniplan.

You will:

- Have a genuine interest in the tiling trade and a willingness to learn
- Take pride in producing quality workmanship and accurate finishes
- Be reliable, motivated and committed to developing your skills
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to learn from experienced tradespeople
- Be committed to maintaining a safe, clean and organised work workplace

Requirements

- Currently undertaking a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, or willing to commence an apprenticeship
- Construction White Card
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred
- Solid attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in tiling, construction or hands-on work is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
