About the role

As a Teaching Fellow (Counselling), you'll join the School of Education and Community Wellbeing, where you'll inspire and support the next generation of counselling professionals. You will be teaching subjects across Bachelor of Counselling, Graduate Certificate in Counselling Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Master of Counselling. You'll combine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging and centred around student success.

Full-time permanent position located at Flinders Street Campus.

Hybrid (Campus and online)

What you'll bring

- Master's degree in Counselling or a related discipline required; a PhD (completed or in progress) is preferred.
- Demonstrated relevant counselling industry experience is a MUST.
- ACA registration is preferred, or the ability to obtain registration upon appointment.
- Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environments in Higher Education
- Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching
- Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education
- Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities
- A student-centred approach to teaching and learning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
