Little Scholars School of Early Learning is a home‑from‑home, family‑oriented, early education campus with a focus on creating a successful future for all our children, educators and families. Situated in the heart of Burleigh, we have a beautiful & well‑reseourced environment that cares for children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
Role Requirements
The successful candidate will need:
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
A current and valid Working with Children Check
A current First Aid & CPR and emergency asthma & anaphylaxis training
A strong understanding of regulation/legislation, including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
The ability to stay calm and considered in the face of anything
Solid team leadership abilities with experience leading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators
Key Role Responsibilities
Put children and parents first by greeting everyone and ensuring they have the best possible experience through high‑quality tours and orientations
Recruit, motivate and inspire a team of passionate educators to best practice
Oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculum and pedagogical documentation
Ensure immaculate centre presentation within the internal and external play spaces
Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
Build and engage with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
