We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at the Beenleigh RSL & Golf Club. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This full-time role is based at our club located in Mount Warren Park, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision
Develop creative and innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise and align with the club's brand and customer expectations
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for the kitchen team
Participate in budget planning and cost control measures to maximise profitability
Represent the club at industry events and liaise with suppliers to stay up-to-date with market trends
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Head Chef or in an equivalent senior culinary role, preferably within the hospitality or club industry
Exceptional culinary skills and a demonstrated flair for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of developing and motivating kitchen staff
Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
