About TRUEGRID Australia
TRUEGRID Australia manufactures and distributes TRUEGRID permeable paving systems — a GECA-certified, Australian Made range used across civil, commercial, equine, agricultural, and landscape sectors. Our products (Pro Lite, Pro Plus, and ROOT) solve real-world drainage, ground stabilisation, and load-bearing challenges for councils, engineers, landscape architects, and contractors across Australia. As our reseller and trade network grows, we need a technically credible voice who can sit across the table from an engineer or sustainability officer and be trusted on the specification detail.
The Role
This is an office-based technical role at the centre of how TRUEGRID is specified, understood, and correctly applied on real projects. You'll be the technical authority engineers, councils, landscape architects, and trade partners turn to when they need confidence in load ratings, infill specifications, environmental outcomes and installation requirements — supported by occasional attendance at industry events where that same technical credibility matters more than a sales pitch.
Key Responsibilities
- Specification support — Act as the technical reference point for engineers, landscape architects, councils, and resellers on product selection, load ratings, infill/aggregate specifications, and installation requirements.
- Technical enquiry / Quotation management — Own inbound technical and project enquiries end-to-end, providing specification advice, technical documentation, and project-specific quotations.
- Project & pipeline follow-through — Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of technical enquiries and specification status across the CRM/pipeline, ensuring nothing is left unresolved.
- Industry events — Represent TRUEGRID's technical credibility at select trade shows, expos,
and industry events, engaging specifiers and engineers on the technical substance of the product.
- Cross-functional environmental liaison — Work across Engineering and Environmental organisations to highlight advantages in projects
- Technical documentation — Own and improve specification sheets, technical calculators, and engineering-facing collateral used across the sales and reseller network.
About You
- Degree or diploma-qualified in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent depth of practical, real-world technical experience.
- A track record of applying technical knowledge to real-world problems, not purely theoretical or lab-based experience — you've worked with specifications, standards, or engineering documentation in practice.
- Confident and credible in technical conversations with engineers, councils, and specifiers — able to hold your own on the detail, not just relay it.
- Comfortable owning a technical enquiry from first contact through to quotation and sale, with the diligence to keep records and follow-through accurate.
- Full driver's licence and occasional availability to travel for select industry events.
- Prior exposure to construction, civil works, stormwater, drainage, or landscape industries highly regarded but not essential.
What We Offer
- A genuinely technical role representing an innovative, Australian Made and GECA-certified product in a growing category.
- Direct influence over how TRUEGRID is specified and understood across civil, government, commercial, and agricultural projects nationally.
- Variety across specification support, technical documentation, and select industry engagement — without a hunting/KPI sales culture.
Supportive, small-team environment with direct access
