About the Role

Casual Quarry Operator Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland Casual | $27.48 - $32.65 (pending experience) + 25% casual loading + super + penalties Heidelberg Materials Australia (formerly Hanson) have opportunities to join our team as a Casual Quarry Operator at Glasshouse Mountains in the Sunshine Coast region. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager, and we are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value a strong work ethic. This is casual leading to full time for the right candidate.

Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders, and Excavators. Operating the crushing and screening plant General fixed plant maintenance and inspections During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed Commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership Adhere to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures.

Background and Experience required

- Quarry/Mining experience.
- Experience operating a Front-End Loader, Dump Truck and/or Excavator.
- Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised.
- Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude example.
