This position will work within the Argo Complex, an integrated support function bringing together the Carborough Downs Bord and Pillar mine, Ironbark No.1 Longwall mine, Broadlea Open Cut, and a centralised CHPP. Working across these sites, you’ll play a key part in providing critical in office support for our Supply team activities in a dynamic environment that offers exposure to multiple facets of our operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is hands-on and high-impact. You will design, set up, and run key processes until they are fully embedded and running smoothly on their own. Reporting to the Supply Superintendent, the position leverages strong maintenance and technical expertise to enhance supply chain performance, reduce costs, protect asset availability, and deliver measurable bottom-line improvements across the Complex.

- Repairable & Rotable Spares: You’ll build and embed end-to-end processes for managing repairable and rotable spares, including classification, criticality, repair vs replace decisions, and repair loop governance.

- Warranty Management: You’ll establish a structured warranty process that ensures eligibility is checked before repair or replacement decisions are made.

- Scrap & Obsolete Stock: You’ll identify redundant, obsolete, and slow-moving stock and coordinate compliant disposal and recovery activities.





- Critical Parts & Alternative Sourcing: You’ll assess supply risks, identify critical parts, and develop approved alternative options that reduce cost.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

- Previous demonstrated experience in maintenance, technical, or supply chain experience and enjoy working in environments where you can make a tangible difference.

- Practical, analytical, and comfortable getting into the detail while also building structured, scalable solutions.

- Must have extensive experience in relevant purchase order systems/software and advanced Microsoft Suite skills

- This is a fixed term position, so you need to be willing to commit for 6 months.
