The Role

We're looking for a Compliance & Audit Coordinator to join our growing Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in compliance, risk or audit within a fast-moving financial services business.

Working closely with our Head of Compliance & Audit, you'll help ensure Jacaranda continues to meet its regulatory obligations by supporting compliance activities, internal audits, policy management and governance processes. You'll enjoy variety, work across multiple business areas and play an important role in strengthening our compliance framework.

What you'll be doing

- Support the delivery of compliance and internal audit activities across the business
- Conduct internal audits, control testing and loan file reviews
- Maintain compliance registers, records and action plans
- Assist with updating policies, procedures and compliance documentation
- Coordinate monthly compliance monitoring activities and reporting
- Prepare audit working papers, findings and recommendations
- Support Compliance Committee meetings and governance activities
- Coordinate compliance training and maintain training records
- Assist with external audits and regulatory information requests




- Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

You'll thrive here if you have

- Experience in compliance, audit, risk, governance or quality assurance (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with policies, documentation and reporting
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High levels of integrity and accountability
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage, but not essential
- A qualification (or currently studying) in Business, Compliance, Risk or a related field is desirable
