About Henty Gold Mine

Henty is an established underground gold operation supported by a 199koz Ore Reserve and a conventional 300–400ktpa processing plant, targeting ~30,000oz annual production.

Ongoing underground development and exploration drilling programs are focused on resource growth, discovery and extending mine life.

About the role

Henty Gold Mine is seeking motivated and safety-focused Underground Nippers and Truck Operators to join our underground mining team.

Working as part of a collaborative crew and reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting safe and efficient underground mining operations. Whether you're assisting development crews as a Nipper or transporting materials and equipment as a Truck Operator, you will contribute to maintaining production while upholding Henty's strong commitment to safety.

Key responsibilities

Nipper

- Provide general underground support across development and production areas
- Conduct pre-start inspections of work areas and equipment
- Transport personnel, tools, explosives,



piping and other materials underground
- Remove waste materials from underground workings
- Assist underground crews with a variety of operational tasks
- Maintain a solid commitment to safe work practices and site procedures

Truck Operator

- Safely operate company trucks in accordance with National Heavy Vehicle regulations
- Deliver, collect and transport materials, parts and equipment to site safely and efficiently
- Complete vehicle inspections, logbooks and freight documentation
- Load, unload and secure freight in accordance with transport requirements
- Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers, warehouse personnel and site teams
- Comply with fatigue management, mass and load restraint requirements
- Support warehouse and supply operations as required

About you

- A robust commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in an underground mining setting
- Previous manual labour or mining experience (preferred)
