About you

- Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Completed a post graduate qualification in mental health nursing
- A minimum of 12-24 months mental health experience in a mental health clinical setting inpatient and/or community-based setting
- Demonstrated understanding of working with mental health consumers, includingappropriate supports, therapeutic engagement,assessmentand evidence-based interventions
- Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2022
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a 7 day a week rotating roster (AM, PM & Nights)

WIPU is a dedicated women’s-only adult acute inpatient unitlocatedatFootscray, providing trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and individually tailored care for women experiencing severe mental ill health. Registered Psychiatric Nurse – Unit 2 (Adult Inpatient Units)

Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Western Health Pool (Inpatient)
