Assistant Rostering Coordinator
Location: Gregory Hills, NSW
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Roster) + Participation in an On-Call Roster
Salary: $70,000 per annum + Superannuation

We are seeking a motivated and organisedAssistant Rostering Coordinatorto join our growing team. About the Role
Working closely with our Rostering Coordinators and operational team, you will assist in coordinating staff rosters, responding to roster changes, and ensuring shifts are filled efficiently while maintaining exceptional service delivery.
This role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of staff rosters.
- Coordinate shift allocations and support day-to-day roster changes.
- Respond promptly to cancellations and arrange suitable replacement staff.
- Liaise professionally with support workers, participants, families, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records within rostering and client management systems.
- Ensure rostering practices align with NDIS requirements and organisational policies.
- Assist with workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Participate in a rotating on-call roster outside standard business hours.
- Provide administrative support to the rostering and operations team as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based rostering systems.
- A positive, professional, and team-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, disability services, healthcare, or customer service is highly regarded but not essential.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current National Police Check.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
