The Role

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. We have multiple roster opportunities in our SIL houses across the region; this posting is specifically for homes located in Wallsend.

Your Day‑to‑Day May Include

- Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
- Encouraging skill‑building, independence, and decision‑making
- Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
- Following person‑centred plans with empathy and professionalism
- Building positive relationships with our clients

What You'll Bring

- A can‑do attitude and growth mindset – you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference
- Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key
- NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)
- Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
- Availability across a variety of shift times, including:
- Early mornings (6am - 9am) – Preference will be given to those candidates with early morning availability
- Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
- Afternoons & evenings
- Awake overnights (10pm-6am)

Training and Development

We invest $5,000 in training in your first year. You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We offer fully funded nationally recognised qualifications including:

- CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support
- Ongoing specialist training and skill development
