We are seeking an energetic Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside Engineering Authorities, liaise with stakeholders, conduct engineering assessments, and support the approval of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). You will demonstrate advanced technical theories and methodologies to provide innovative solutions while staying mindful of cost and schedule constraints. Your work will adhere to established processes, budgets, and timetables, as directed by the project plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct systems analysis to derive function, performance, and interface requirements that meet electrical safety parameters.
- Engage in System Design activities, including trade studies, to ensure design artefacts are compatible with the baselined product and consistent across all subsystems.
- Perform technical risk analysis to support the development and review of hazard logs, safety case arguments, and risk‑mitigation actions.
- Ensure assigned electrical systems and subsystems are developed and implemented according to appropriate standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure Raytheon’s reputation as a trusted partner in delivering systems integration and mission support solutions.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia (inclusive of RPEQ recognition).
- Experience in Engineering practices – Requirements Definition, Management, Analysis, Design, and Verification & Validation.
- Experience representing Engineering skilled services to internal and external customers.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience (for those holding a University Degree).
- Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business, with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
- Experience in product configuration control.
- Availability for travel when required.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
