An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Network Automation & Platform Engineer to play a key role in the evolution, automation, and reliability of critical network and platform environments. Working across networking, cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps disciplines, you will drive automation initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and enhance platform performance at scale. This is an ideal role for a technically versatile engineer with strong Linux and networking expertise, a passion for automation, and a commitment to delivering reliable, modern technology solutions. Experience within HFC networks is highly regarded but not essential.

Scope of Work

As a Senior Network Automation & Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation frameworks and platform solutions across complex network and cloud environments. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, architecture, and security teams to modernize infrastructure, implement CI/CD capabilities, strengthen observability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can identify efficiencies, solve complex problems, and support the delivery of scalable, secure, and highly available platforms.

Daily Duties

- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline operational, deployment, monitoring, and reporting activities across network and platform environments.
- Develop and support Python, Shell, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to reduce manual intervention and improve service reliability.

- Configure and maintain GitHub repositories, governance standards, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot complex network, platform, and cloud-related issues while driving root cause analysis and long‑term remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to contribute to technical roadmaps, documentation, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiative

Skills Required

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, troubleshooting methodologies, and network observability practices within enterprise or service provider environments.
- Advanced Linux administration experience with strong scripting capabilities using Python, Shell, or similar automation technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code platforms.
- Proven experience supporting public or private cloud environments, including networking, security, identity management, and infrastructure services.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub administration, source control strategies, CI/CD implementation, and contemporary DevOps delivery practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to mentor others and drive technical outcomes across multiple technology domains.
