Key Responsibilities Include

- Undertaking merger analysis in Australia, across APAC and across the world




- Preparing merger clearance submissions/applications in Australia and across the APAC region.
- Advising on the competition law implications of supply chains, collaborations and other alliances.
- Advising clients on all aspects of competition and consumer law matters, including cartel conduct, misuse of market power, anti-competitive arrangements, concerted practices, misleading and deceptive, unconscionable conduct, and other consumer protection matters.
- Responding to ACCC investigations across all competition and consumer related matters.
- Advising on access regimes and regulation of monopoly infrastructure
- Advising on and obtaining clearance for foreign investment.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Skills And Experience Required

- PQE 4-6 years of competition law experience in private practice or with a regulator
- Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative and analytical thinker
- Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when working across multiple projects.
- Client service focus and commercial awareness
- Team player
- Robust judgment and initiative
