What You’ll Drive
The Manager, Employee & Industrial Relations provides high-level specialist employee and industrial relations advice and leadership to support effective, compliant and consistent people management practices across TAFE SA. The role contributes to the delivery of a contemporary and responsive people management framework through the application of employment legislation, industrial instruments, policies and procedures. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders, the position supports informed decision-making, effective workplace relationships and the achievement of organisational objectives within a complex public sector environment.
The Skills You Bring
- Demonstrated capability to lead, develop and support teams, foster a high-performance culture, and maintain professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.
- Extensive experience providing expert employee and industrial relations advice, including the interpretation and application of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards, policies and industrial frameworks within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise bargaining,
with the ability to effectively negotiate and support the development of current Enterprise Agreements.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievance, dispute and industrial issues, applying sound judgement, procedural fairness and effective risk management.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
