About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can lead from the front, manage bakery operations effectively, motivate a team, and maintain consistently high product standards.
- Lead the bakery team and oversee daily bakehouse operations
- Manage costs, wages, stock, and ordering to protect profitability
- Improve systems, reduce waste, and drive operational efficiency
- Build a positive team culture and support business growth with the owner
- Combine hands-on leadership with strong commercial and operational oversight
About You
- Proven experience leading a bakery, bakehouse, or similar food production operation
- Full Australian working rights – sponsorship is not available for this role
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team performance
- Solid commercial understanding of costs, margins, and profitability
- Experience managing stock, ordering, labour, waste, and daily operations
- A practical, quality-focused problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced workplace
