Overview

Knox Private Hospital is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department. As one of Victoria's largest private hospitals, we offer exposure to a broad range of emergency presentations and access to specialist medical, cardiac and critical care services onsite. Full-time or part-time roles are available. The unit offers a dedicated Cardiology Centre, 24/7 services and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care
- Provide complex and multidisciplinary care
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support patient needs
- Act as a role model for safe practice
- Deliver education and support to patients for their health recovery
- Apply authority to work in Australia
- Comply with Working with Children checks where relevant
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current registration (no restrictions) with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in Coronary Care or Critical Care, or minimum 2 years’ experience in a CCU
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused
- Flexibility to work a fully rotational roster

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2025 (Salary range between $41.90 and $53.69 + 12.5% Super)
