Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering efficient procurement solutions? We are looking for a Procurement Officer to play a vital role in supporting our organisation’s procurement activities across two interconnected areas: Contracts Management and Supply Services. This dynamic position is central to ensuring compliance with procurement standards, streamlining processes, and providing exceptional administrative and operational support within a complex healthcare environment.
In this role, you will manage contract registers, assist with tender documentation, and monitor compliance timelines, while also handling purchase requests, invoice matching, and fleet services. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused service and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Our preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
- Procurement experience including tender preparation, maintaining purchase orders and receipting (experience in a healthcare or government department setting desirable)
- Strong written communication, producing clear, professional reports and correspondence.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Reliable and skilled approach to work.
- Accurate minute-taking, capturing key discussions and decisions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Advantageous Qualifications
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
- Experience with data entry and contract management systems;
- Business Administration qualification (Cert III/IV or Diploma) or 2+ years relevant experience;
- Knowledge of FMIS Oracle or similar systems;
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare or similar administrative setting. Desirable;
- Familiarity with Health Share Victoria and government procurement frameworks (ICN, LIDP, Modern Slavery, Social Procurement);
- Understanding of privacy legislation and document control practices;
- Ability to engage effectively with executives and key stakeholders.
IMPORTANT
Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
