Assist the principal solicitor with family law matters. Your role will mainly be the accurate drafting of family law documents in non-litigious matters, and you will be required to have some contact with clients by telephone and in conference online to obtain further instructions as required.
This role is mainly drafting documents such as application forms, consent orders, financial agreements, etc. You will be provided with clear instructions, guidance, appropriate tools, resources, and precedents. You must be comfortable with drafting to a high standard, with accuracy, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
You must be a law graduate from an Australian university who has completed, or is completing, their PLT course. You must have some demonstrated knowledge of and interest in family law, for example, you would have done family law as a subject at university,
as part of your PLT, or be doing graduate studies in family law. If you do not fit this criteria, please do not apply.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- robust academic performance
- double degree in accounting or finance
- double degree in computer science or technology
