Role Description

This is a contract, on‑site General Practitioner role based in Willowbank, QLD. The General Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care, including patient consultations, diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and preventive health assessments. Responsibilities include developing individualised treatment plans, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with nursing and allied health professionals. The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, following clinical guidelines, and adhering to relevant regulatory and ethical standards. The GP will also support patient education, participate in case reviews and internal training,



and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical processes and patient experience.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with demonstrated experience in general practice or similar clinical settings.
- Experience or training in Family Medicine, with skills in managing patients across the lifespan and a broad range of conditions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient‑centered care.
- Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development, staying current with evidence‑based guidelines and best practices.
- Medical degree with full registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant Australian medical board and appropriate professional indemnity coverage.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with electronic medical records and comfort using digital tools for documentation, prescribing, and care coordination.
- Current relevant certifications (e.g., CPR/ALS) and familiarity with Australian healthcare regulations and standards.
