Job Description

In this full time role, based in our corporate offices in Richmond, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all employment queries from our Managers and Employees. You will join a team of People & Culture Advisors and be reporting to the People & Culture Assist Team Leader. This opportunity has become available due to internal promotion and is well suited to someone looking to take that next step in their HR career.

Responsibilities

- Responding to written and oral enquiries from employees and people leaders regarding Tier 1 HR matters in a timely and professional manner
- Working in partnership with P&C; colleagues to ensure stakeholders receive accurate information aligned with legislation and policy.
- Managing people‑related documentation, records and correspondence with strong attention to detail, while keeping sight of the broader context and intended outcomes.
- Managing your workload with confidence and accountability, while recognising when to seek input, collaborate with others, or elevate matters
- Having good instincts and sound judgement; knowing when to act, when to ask, and when to listen

Qualifications





To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable taking on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders, be a high energy individual with a growth mindset. Most importantly, you will have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

- Human Resources (or business) qualifications (or working towards)
- Previous experience in Human Resources (HR Shared Services experience is desirable)
- A good understanding of industrial compliance (FairWork – NES – Awards/EA’s).
- Experience with supporting injury management processes (fitness for work, inherent requirements)
- Knowledge of Flexible Work Arrangements inline with legislation
- Drive to actively seek to learn more about the HR function and be motivated to build your HR career
- Experience working in Healthcare (desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement
