The Role
This is a highly impactful role where you will drive clinical excellence, workforce capability and best practice care, working closely with Facility Managers, Clinical Leaders and Quality teams. You will play a key role in uplifting clinical standards and ensuring teams are confident, competent and delivering person-centred care aligned to the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs
- Facilitate onboarding, mandatory training and competency assessments
- Coach, mentor and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff
- Identify gaps in clinical practice and implement targeted education strategies
- Support accreditation readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with leadership teams to embed best practice care delivery
- Contribute to incident reviews, audits and clinical governance activities
Requirements and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience in aged care (Clinical Nurse / Care Manager level preferred)
- Previous experience in education, training or staff development
- Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation
- Confident facilitator with the ability to influence and engage teams
- Ability to travel across multiple sites as required
