Core Responsibilities
- Undertake online teaching as part of the AUO teaching team
- Apply disciplinary expertise to consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessment items, and provide feedback to students
- Implement approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes
- Provide academic support, mentoring and advice to students
- Act as the first point of response/contact in managing student issues or complaints
Essential Skills And Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree and relevant professional/industry work experience (10-week courses)
- Minimum Masters or PhD (6-week courses)
- Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online environment
- Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use the necessary digital techniques and tools required for effective online teaching
- Available to work outside of normal working hours, including weekends
