About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Permanent Educator to join our Bendigo South centre. In this role, you’ll help create a warm, engaging, and supportive learning workplace where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

As part of the Journey family, you’ll work collaboratively with your team and Centre Leadership to deliver high‑quality early learning experiences. You’ll be supported to grow your skills, strengthen your practice, and feel confident in a positive, values‑led workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily routines across the service
- Provide warm, responsive, child‑led care
- Create sensory‑rich, age‑appropriate learning experiences
- Observe and document children’s strengths, interests and development
- Maintain high health, hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families
- Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a joyful, supportive setting
- Uphold Journey’s high safeguarding and child protection standards

About You

- ACECQA‑recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Passionate about early development and creating secure attachments
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team culture




- Confident in active supervision and maintaining safe environments
- Holds current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Warm, patient and committed to high‑quality practice
