Your new career

Our Melbourne Spark Intern Program is designed for students in their penultimate year of university, who want to experience life at Pitcher Partners and understand what it is like to work in a professional service environment.

You will complete a seven‑week internship in one of our practice groups, giving you the opportunity to apply your university studies to real‑world practice. You will join a cohort of approximately 25 interns and participate in professional and technical development together, with opportunities to learn and have fun together.

As a Spark Intern, you will have a buddy, manager within your practice group to guide you, and a program manager to support you at each step of the way. During your internship you will have the opportunity to work with, and learn from, partners and senior leaders.

Who we’re after

We are looking for students with a keen interest in accounting who have a can‑do attitude, desire to learn, and a willingness to try recent things.

- You are currently studying towards a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, commerce, or similar.
- You are in your penultimate year at university and will complete your studies in 2027.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen; or hold Australian Permanent Residency at the time of your application.
- Available to work the entire internship from 23rd November 2026 to 29th January 2027, with a three‑week break over the festive period.
