About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily operational activities across automated processing and container handling operations while maintaining strong safety and productivity standards. A key component of the role will involve operating container handling equipment, including Reach Stackers, to safely move and position shipping containers throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating fully automated core line operations
- Operating fully automatic dump press equipment (TriPak)
- Operating container handling equipment rated greater than 20,000kg
- Operating Reach Stacker to move and stack containers
- Operating sortation machinery and associated equipment
- Assisting with team supervision, inductions, and on‑the‑job training
- Supporting day‑to‑day operational performance and workflow coordination
- Maintaining safe work practices and following operational procedures at all times
- Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required
Requirements
- Previous experience within warehouse, logistics, transport, container handling, or industrial operations
- Current Reach Stacker Licence/Ticket with demonstrated operating experience
- Experience operating Reach Stackers, or similar heavy mobile plant (20T+)
- Experience handling shipping containers within busy operational environments
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Ability to work within a fast‑paced operational environment
- Reliable work ethic and strong communication skills
- Experience with team leadership, training, or supervision highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
