- Work collaboratively within the Emergency Department team to deliver safe, person-centred care under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in partnership with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, carers and clinicians to support timely care, escalation and smooth transitions of care.

- Support quality improvement, risk management, work health and safety, and safe clinical practice across the department.

Are You the Right Fit?

- Demonstrate recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a clinical environment relevant to Emergency care.
- Deliver safe,



compassionate and culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population.
- Work within your scope of practice, using sound judgement and seeking guidance from a Registered Nurse when required.
- Apply critical thinking and evidence-based practice to support positive patient outcomes.
- Communicate professionally and contribute to a collaborative team workplace, including supporting others, sharing knowledge and appropriately escalating concerns.

Selection Criteria

- Current Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with no notations related to administration of medication.
- Describe how you provide safe, compassionate and culturally responsive care as an Enrolled Nurse working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide an example of how you used communication and critical thinking to identify a patient care risk, elevate the concern, and contribute to a safe outcome.
