Job Description

Crown Institute of Higher Education is a Permanent Full‑Time position (38 hours per week) offering the opportunity to contribute to teaching, curriculum development, academic administration, and student engagement within a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

- Delivered lectures and facilitated tutorials, seminars, and laboratory sessions across allocated subject areas.
- Designed, evaluated, and graded assessments including essays, assignments, and examinations in line with academic standards.
- Provided academic guidance and mentorship to students on educational matters.
- Participated in departmental and faculty meetings, conferences, and academic seminars.
- Supervised postgraduate and honours students, as well as tutorial staff where required.
- Contributed to curriculum development, course design, and academic planning initiatives.
- Served on academic committees, faculty boards, and other institutional bodies as required.
- Led and facilitated class discussions to encourage critical thinking and student engagement.
- Developed and compiled specialised learning materials,



including reading lists and bibliographies.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in relevant roles.
- Positive communication skills, energy, and attitude.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary early childhood pedagogy and curriculum frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse student cohorts.
- The right to work in Australia.
