Loader Operator | Full-Time Permanent | BERT Project

Redpath Mining is expanding at the BERT Project in Cloncurry, building a high-performing team of experienced Underground Loader Operators. This is a long-term, permanent role with an even-time 14/14 FIFO roster and the opportunity to work on one of Queensland's underground mining projects.

Responsibilities

As an Underground Loader Operator, you will:

- Operate underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.
- Complete production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.
- Apply effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management, and stope brow sprinkler setup.
- Follow all Redpath, client, and site safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an underground mining environment.
- Current Loader Ticket.
- Experience operating Sandvik loaders (highly regarded).
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Current Working at Heights certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to Redpath's "Safety – First, Last and Always" philosophy.
